On a club level, the move up to the highest division in Sweden means that more fundraising and capital is needed to create a successful team. The travel budget for the 2013 is nearly ten times that of 2012. The club has committed to working through sponsorships to help our players and support the club. The club understands that in order to be competitive at this level it requires the ability to add talent to the roster through import players. As The Predators grow through the near future I believe they will be second to none in their desire and ability to support their players and coaches.
The team will look very similar in 2013 as it did in their Div 1 Championship season of 2012. Only one key player from 2012 will be missing in 2013 and We have added a number of additional players who will help elevate our game to another level. The goal is no different in 2013, the standard of excellence in how we approach the game has not changed. Every player knows what the standard of his position is and will work diligently to achieve perfection in what they do. Knowing that perfection is not attainable they know that their work is never done.

The Predators will return all 11 starters on offense. The high tempo, high scoring offense of 2012 is being fine tuned for 2013 and will be ready to showcase the many talents the Predators boast on the offensive side of the ball. Returning at QB is Swedish American Philip Juhlin. Phil has great ability in both throwing and running the football. His leadership skills will be key to help the Predators through the adversity that 2013 will bring. At Running Back Anders Larsson returns back in top shape after ending the season on high note with two strong performances in the the playoffs. Anders looks to continue that momentum in 2013. Adding to the RB core will be Timmy Göransson from Ystad Rockets. Timmy has started on the Swedish nation team for the last 2 years and is a great talent with the ball in his hands. At Wide Receiver the Predators I believe have the most talent of any team in Sweden. Returning starters Benjamin Hörnquist, Sorin Pandrea and Marcus Johnsson have great playmaking ability and have great hands along with great speed. Along with youngsters Pontus Nilsson, Pontus Bengtsson what the Predators lack in depth they make up for with explosive ability.

The Predator defense returns 9 of the 11 starters from a defense in 2012 that allowed less then 7 points a game. DT Anton Warhby has left the Predators to attend Wofford College in the United States. DE Marcus Dickson is still rehabing a severe knee injury from late in the year in 2012 and will hopefully be ready for action at the end of the summer. Returning players who saw a lot of action on defensive line is Peter Buren, brothers Gustav and Johan Svensson, Anton Henriksson and David Göransson. The Predators added 3 new players to the mix up front on defensive. Two former members of the Gotenborg Marvels, Emanuel Okon and Albin Dahl will provide an immediate impact for the DL as well young Maximilian Malander from Lugi.

The Predators will be signing an American import that will be announced in the coming days. The desire to upgrade our roster will never end and I would expect other additions to be made as we get closer to the start of the season.
